10-1 Panguitch means "Big Fish"

What better way to spend a quiet morning than on the banks of Panguitch Lake, fishing for our dinner? It was a little chilly, but two hours and two big fish later, we went back to our condo with smiles on our faces.

Because it was windy, Chris didn't even realize that he had a fish on the line either time. The second fish was reeled in by our little Tom! It wasn't until the fish (the big one!) jumped out of the water that we realized he caught something. Look at the glee on Tom's face! He was a great fishing partner!

Gordon, in the meantime, had a fun time running around the "beach". He found all sorts of interesting things-- litter (me: "No, no-- put that down. No! Gordon, NO NO!!"), rocks, sticks, and grass the very color of his thick blonde hair. Here he is sharing some of that grass-- what a cutie!

Panguitch Lake lived up to its name! And we enjoyed some very tasty trout dinner that night. Yum yum!

Just tell Chris to throw the fish bones away and not leave them around the campfire.
