First Dam, that is. On Saturday, my running friends (and also HJ girls) Christy, Holly and I participated in the First Dam 5K/10K race here in Logan. Christy and I both ran our first 10K races, although I have to admit that I went the wrong way at the end and I'm not sure if I ran exactly 10K. No one seemed to care (especially since I wasn't winning anything), so I'll just say that I did it and leave it at that. Apparently my brain was a little too fuzzy after 5+ miles to look for the orange cones.
Anyway, it was a really fun race and I'm glad I did it, and glad that I didn't come in last (even with going the wrong way). I have to thank Christy for getting me to do the 10K-- if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have done it.
Afterward, Holly had to leave (because the awards, which none of us won, took so dang long) so Christy and I went to Jamba Juice to celebrate. Nothing like a cold fruit smoothie to finish up a race!
**Thanks, Holly, for letting me steal this picture from your blog!

I thought that looked familiar! Please, feel free to steal away... that's what I did last time! And I am very proud of us for doing another run. Maybe I'll be ready for the half marathon in April (I doubt it though)!
I am proud of you too! I could never...ever. Go girl!
Seriously you are CRAZY girl!! So impressive.
