We arrived at 11:00 AM, apparently not the most popular tree-shopping time, since we were the only people there. It was almost like being in our own Winter Wonderland!

Thomas was at school, so Gordon frolicked through the trees alone. He had so much fun trying to hide from me-- he's a fast little booger!
Where is Gordon?

Unlike the real forest, we found a perfect tree in about ten minutes. Also unlike the forest, there was a guy who helped us trim the bottom of the tree, then tied it to our car.

Okay, so it lacks the adventure of hunting down your own natural tree. But I could not have asked for a more beautiful tree!

Well-- at least your tree didn't come from a dusty old box that baked in our Texas garage all summer long... I love the smell of a real Christmas tree. We may just have to break tradition and go out and get one (like old times!)
There's nothing that smells more like Christmas than a real tree. Unfortunately, mine is coming up from the basement (pre-lit) this year. Guess I'll go buy a pine candle.
Oh, I'm so jealous! I'd kill for a real tree. I'm impressed you found it in such a short time, too!
man, you are such a good blogger! it was SOOOOOOO fun to see you guys today, i'll post our photos (hopefully) soon!
That looks like fun! We should have done that - but instead we hacked through the Wal-mart forest. Which is sometimes worse than the real thing!
I give you props for that because we have a store bought prelit tree! We suck!
Haha everyone else has a fake tree! I too have a fake tree in my apartment, but I am a firm supporter of the real tree and I think your guys' looks great! Those pictures of Gord are fun too!
But where is the snow?
Yeah for real trees! Good for you guys.
